7 East 27th Street, at Fifth Avenue
appeals against shame. Melodies
improvised, borne by verse on the streets
and high-rise ledges of Manhattan, are
paired with organic and electronic
instrumentation and beats. Composed
and performed by a deaf and dumb
clown, the series challenges readers to
listen and dancers to revolt against
humanity's ineluctable urge to sublimate
communitarian love for the erotic.
